This wine is a small batch “field blend” of 82% Chardonnay and 18% Viognier grapes that were hand picked, whole bunch pressed and co-fermented. The wine has aromas of cut apples, peaches, melons and apricots. On the palate the abundant fruit sweetness is nicely balanced on an acid backbone that gives this wine a surprisingly persistent length and a crisp dry finish.
