2021 Sangiovese
An Italian red grape, that derives its name from the latin san Jovis, “Blood of Jupiter”, predominantly grown in Tuscany region and know as Chianti or Brunello. This light to medium bodied wine is light garnet to ruby in colour. This easy drinking wine offers up flavours of plums, sour cherries, tomato, herbs, herbs and savoury spices. Finishing with bright acidity and medium tannins. A classic accompaniment for tomato based pizza and pasta dishes, hard cheese and charcuterie, BBQ meats and vegetables or gnocchi with butter and sage sauce
