The complex aromas of the wine include ripe raspberries, cherries, dark plums and black pepper with a hint of vanilla. The wine is full of dark plummy and berry flavours on the palate with a fine balance and a discernible acidity all accompanied by nicely integrated oak and firm persistent tannins.  This wine has developed well in the bottle and it still has lots of life.
